Neck Goiter

If you have a goiter, you are probably experiencing a large mass in the front of the neck. There are a number of factors that can cause a hypothyroid to become enlarged. Often a diet that is iodine deficient can cause a goiter but most people do not suffer a goiter because of diet. Often a goiter is caused by an increase in the tsh stimulating hormone in response to a problem in normal hormone synthesis in the thyroid.
